My husband and I have been very intentional about the things we have brought in to our home this past year. Furniture. Decor.. now it’s time to intentionally make our home match our vision. Starting with the dining room!
Here is a photo of our dining room when we moved in:
We knew immediately we wanted to do board and batten to lengthen the room. Paired with my husbands desire to have a window bench somewhere in the house, it was the perfect match.
We married the luxurious crown moulding ("RELIABILT 1-3/16-in x 4-1/4-in x 8-ft Primed MDF Architrave" from Lowe's) with the modern colors and decor for a timeless end result. With the perfect finishing touches of the gold outlets and light switch.
I got crazy lucky and thrifted these frames from our local Goodwill for $35!
Pillows:
I was so impressed by the pillow selection I found! Affordable, well made, and the perfect rich textures I was hoping for to add a layer of depth to the look.
Before our renovation, we had bought this table and chairs knowing, no matter how we designed the room, it would be a classic to fit just about any style.
We couldn't be happier! The table has leaves allowing for it to be expanded for parties and holidays.
This bench was a work of love by my husband. The top opens up on both sides for extra storage.
Luckily for us, the vent under this window is just an intake vent! Because of this, it was easy to add ventilation on the top backs of the bench to allow for air flow without needing to move the duct.
I found these cozy cushions to go on top - technically outdoor bench cushions.
We have 4 young kids, so easy to wipe and maintain is a must and I knew going with an "outdoor" option would fit this need.
This room is all hand done by Keith. This man takes an idea and turns it into an amazing reality. Especially thankful for him and the gifts God has given him to transform this room for our family.
Paint colors:

Lots of love for this unique light fixture that brings the perfect touch of modern luxury back to the design.
On to the next!
